Class Wallet – Homeschool & Florida Education Funds

How Class Wallet works with Florida homeschool: pay for curriculum and approved expenses with Step Up or other education funds. Links to Odyssey and Homeschool Complete.

Class Wallet – Homeschool & Florida Education Funds

Class Wallet is a payment platform that many Florida education programs use so families can pay approved vendors with scholarship or ESA funds. If your Step Up or other program uses Class Wallet, you can often use it to buy curriculum, books, and other qualified homeschool expenses.

What is Class Wallet?

Class Wallet lets you spend your child’s education funds at approved merchants. Programs like Step Up for Students and some ESA options in Florida use it so parents can pay for tuition, curriculum, tutoring, and other eligible items without writing checks to the state. You typically get a card or account linked to your child’s funds and shop at participating vendors.

Class Wallet, Step Up, and Odyssey

  • Step Up – Florida scholarship that may use Class Wallet (or another platform) for disbursement. See our Step Up guide for how the scholarship works and how to use it with homeschool curriculum.
  • Odyssey – Another part of Florida’s education choice system. Depending on your program, you might use Odyssey, Class Wallet, or both. Our Odyssey page explains how it fits with homeschool.

Check your program’s materials to see whether you use Class Wallet, Odyssey, or another system, and which expenses are allowed.

Using Class Wallet for Homeschool Curriculum

Many approved vendors include curriculum publishers. Homeschool Complete is used by Florida families who pay with scholarship or ESA funds. Confirm that Homeschool Complete (or your chosen curriculum) is on your program’s approved list and that your purchase type (e.g. curriculum, books) is eligible.
