Kindergarten Curriculum

Kindergarten in our framework covers the core four: language arts (including phonics), mathematics, science, and social studies. Lessons are designed for short, focused blocks and fit a 4 core days + 1 review + 1 project day week. Florida homeschool requirements are met when you keep records and complete your annual evaluation.

What Kindergarten Covers

• Language arts — Letter sounds, early phonics, read-alouds, and foundational writing.
• Mathematics — Numbers, counting, basic operations, and shapes.
• Science — Nature science and simple hands-on exploration.
• Social studies — Community, family, and introductory geography.

Weekly Structure

• 4 core days — Focused lessons in the core four subjects.
• 1 review day — Practice and reinforcement.
• 1 project day — Flex for activities, outings, or pacing.
