Fourth Grade Curriculum

Fourth grade builds on third with stronger essay writing, multiplication and division fluency, U.S. history, and experimental science. The 4 core + 1 review + 1 project day week continues. Florida homeschool requirements are met with a portfolio and annual evaluation.

What Fourth Grade Covers

• Language arts — Essay writing, research skills, reading comprehension, and grammar.
• Mathematics — Multiplication and division fluency, fractions, decimals, and geometry.
• Science — Experimental science and scientific method.
• Social studies — U.S. history, Florida history, geography, and government.

Weekly Structure

• 4 core days — Focused lessons in the core four subjects.
• 1 review day — Practice and reinforcement.
• 1 project day — Flex for projects or pacing.
